Since March 2009, Frédéric Geerts has been the CEO and Managing Director at Rothschild Martin Maurel Monaco part of the Rothschild & Co. Group.
He graduated with the title of “Commercial Engineer” at the SOLVAY Business School – ULB University of Brussels .
He is also the holder of a Master in Wealth Engineering from Clermont-Ferrand, France.
Frederic Geerts was a Corporate and Investment Banker within the “Groupe Générale de Belgique” in Brussels and in Paris for 25 years, including a 5 years period -as an "Afro-optimist"- at “Banque Belgolaise”, as Corporate & Area Manager in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa then in 1999;
As the Group just became Fortis , he has been successively Head of Private Banking and “ Directeur Commercial “ Fortis Banque France .
In 2006, he was promoted to member of the “Specialized Finance Services” Management Board, Head of Development.
In December 2020, he becomes the new President of the CEMA, Club of Monegasque Entrepreneurs in Africa ;as he is one of the five founding members, he had been the Secretary General since origin in 2014 and the responsible for the development of its international programs in Kinshasa, Abidjan, Dakar and Mauritius .
With Rothschild Martin Maurel, Frédéric has initiated the Patronage of the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo since 2011.
